• Fire Horse Journeys

The Fire Horse Journeys are a series of seasonal retreats that invite women to reconnect with themselves through the wisdom of horses, reflection, movement, and shared experience. Each retreat explores a unique theme and is designed to be a complete experience on its own.

    Clearing the Smoke:

    Release • Clarity • Connection
July 11 • 9-4:30 Rancho Baile de la Luna
The fire is still burning. Now we clear what obscures the way.

Sometimes what clouds our path isn't a lack of direction, but the weight of what we've been carrying. As summer unfolds in the high desert of central Mexico, we gather as women in partnership with horses to explore what it means to release what no longer serves and create space for greater clarity, peace, and connection. This is not about forcing forgiveness or reliving the past. It's about gently noticing what you're ready to set down and reconnecting with what matters most. Through equine-facilitated experiences, reflection, movement, and creative expression, we create room for insight, self-compassion, and a deeper trust in ourselves.

    During This Experience You Will:

Spend intentional time in the arena with the horses (all work is on the ground, no riding)

Explore what you may be carrying that is ready to be released

Experience how horses reflect authenticity, presence, and emotional clarity

Participate in guided reflection, movement, meditation, and creative expression

Create space for greater peace, self-compassion, and connection to yourself

Share meaningful experiences within a supportive small group of women

    No horse experience necessary

Each experience unfolds a little differently, guided by the group, the horses, and what is present in the moment.

    What Really Happens Here

This is a guided, ground-based equine experience designed to create space for clarity, connection and inner peace.

You will not be riding. You will not be performing.

You arrive, slow down, and begin to settle into the present moment through simple movement, reflection, and guided meditation.

You spend time in the arena with the horses, noticing how they respond to your energy, presence, and authenticity.

The horses do not ask you to be anything other than who you are. They respond to what is real, offering immediate and honest feedback.

As the day unfolds, you may begin to notice thoughts, expectations, old stories, or emotional burdens that have been taking up space.

Through gentle experiences with the horses, quiet reflection, and meaningful conversation, you are invited to explore what you may be ready to set down.

This is a space to reconnect with yourself, gain perspective, and create room for what matters most.

    Who Is This For?

This experience is for women who:

    • Feel like they have been carrying more than they need to carry

    • Are navigating a transition, decision, or season of change and seeking greater clarity

    • Long for more peace, presence, and connection with themselves

    • Want space away from daily responsibilities to reflect and reconnect

    • Are curious about what horses can teach us about authenticity, awareness, and being fully present

    • Feel ready to release old stories, expectations, or patterns that no longer serve them

You do not need horse experience.

You do not need to consider yourself spiritual.

You only need curiosity and a willingness to show up honestly.
